I had a chance to work as a Photoshop Artist in the Video Game industry. 3 things would have been obtained: Money, Experience, and my foot in the gaming industry. The interview itself couldn't have went better because if it did they would have given me a gift basket.
But I also had to take a photoshop test. It's hard to explain what I had to do, but I'll try to explain. They gave my photo's of 3 people, they wanted me to take the 3 people and put them on 1 image; easy enough. Then they wanted me to turn them into more of a graphic/cartoon type style. They said it would take roughly 2 hours and it did.
After sending my first entry they gave me a reply to try again, then I spent another 2 hours and sent it and they sent it back saying to try again, and then I tried my last time and they said "It's still not what we're looking for but your time and effort is appreciated". If I got the job they were supposed to call yesterday, which they didn't.

Well it's great to know that my time and effort was appreciated, well that's nice how much does that pay? Nothing, oh good to know I wasted more than 5 hours total. (Not counting the volunteer work I did for them but that's another story.)
I can color sketches in Photoshop, add/remove something, create things, and even do animation in Photoshop, but of course they wanted me to do something I've never done before.
Overall I'm just venting that I could of had a job in the gaming industry, something I wanted since I was 10, and could have finally had a job after a little more than a year. Lame.
